AM New York is reporting that Countess Luann de Lesseps, of The Real Housewives of New York City, may step onto the Broadway stage in Chicago.
This report comes after she was spotted dining at Bond 45 with Duncan Stewart, who casts the show.
Yes, she has released a single; but it sucks!!!
This would be stuntcasting to the Nth degree, possibly the worst example in theatrical history.
If this happens, I will officially abandon the theory that Chicago on Broadway has any credibility at all.

ReplyDeleteI would actually probably go to see her in that show. Don't forget that Luann is almost a dead ringer personality and voice wise for a famous american and broadway icon. Lauren Becall. Watch the video of Lauren in Applause and you'll all of the sudden think you are also watching Luann. Chicago could be a great role for her.
